I developed a Dynamic Day Night Cycle system using HLSL (High-Level Shading Language) and C# scripts in Unity, designed specifically for a cartoonistic art style. This system creates a stylized and visually appealing day and night transition that complements the game's aesthetic.

The HLSL shader incorporates non-photorealistic rendering techniques to achieve a cartoon-like appearance. It uses cel-shading to create distinct color bands and outlines, giving the environment a flat, hand-drawn look. The shader also applies custom color palettes for day and night, ensuring that the transitions maintain the desired cartoonistic style.

The C# script controls the day-night cycle, allowing designers to set the length and speed of each phase to match the game's pacing.
